Thank You!
Thanks to everyone who pitched in at Christmas to get Chaela a crib. It is because of you that these pictures are possible! For further details, see my blog. The link is further down the page on the side. If someone could make sure grandma and Aunt Niece see these, too, that would be great!

Hello family!
Hello all yous family people out der! Mothers day was lovely, I laid on my couch all day whilst brad and the chitlens were in da basement. Okay, yes, I had a hangover from being at denises the night before. Cade graduated preschool last week so he thinks he is the big whip now. We are in the midst of baseball and softball hell, how does anyone have more then 2 children? I cant seem to keep up. Every night is something. So I started this new medication for my arthritis, hydroxychloroquine, and now I am broke out in a rash all over my body. My butt has huge welts on it and no that isn't too much information. So needless to say, I am no longer taking it. Probably back to methotrexate, go see the doc of june 4th for that. I've just been feeling really crappy because of the RA and haven't had motivation to do much walking but I have to get over that. And now with that, did everyone fill out the medical waiver for phase 1 of online check in? If not, DO IT, says your captain. Brad is in Seattle this weekend with Chief spending time with his brother and new baby, and instead of girls day all day tomorrow, I will be at softball and baseball and probably in the rain. But hey, life isn't about me anymore right! Erin and Molly..... kick some ass on your garage sale this weekend!
Later taters!

Mothers Day
Happy belated mothers day to all you mothers out there!
Did you all have a good day? Mine was very peaceful and quiet. I am still waiting for Jordan to put his clothes away as my present from him! On Saturday I went to Kohl's and got some new shoes for walking and some fancy sport socks! Let's see if they work like they are supposed to! On Sunday Doug grilled some steaks and asparagus mmmm....... delicious!
I have been slacking on my training walks, I did walk in the rain once, but I am not thrilled about doing it every time and all it seems to do here is RAIN! Today is nice and so I shall attempt to get out.
Doug is pretty busy so I don't see him to much, I don't like not seeing him, but I am glad he is busy.
Jordan is counting the days 'til the end of school. Already next years marching band season is here. Jordan is the center snare and will be tapping off next year, which for those of you marching band impaired people out there means he is king of the whole band! Just kidding, but it means the whole band waits for him to start. Right now the show is going to be Led Zepplin(?) is that a band or a person? I don't know and Jordan thinks I am dumb! Whatever!
The girls are doing pretty good, Kristin finally got a job as a nanny. Lindsay is working at a Subway. They are supposed to start fundraising this week. Go Girls!
Caitlyn and Will are moved into their new place and it is okay I think. Caitlyn went back to work at the call center so they will have some money to travel this summer and hopefully at Christmas too!

It's May!
Wow, May is already upon us!
Happy Birthday all you May babies! Lindsay, John and Chris. I think there may be another May birthday but I am not sure who. Sorry!
Well my garage sale went pretty well. I made about $400 which sounds good until I remember that I am splitting that 3 ways! I am now wishing I had put my kitchen table out there too.
I got some good advice from a neighbor who did something similar to this walk we are doing. She raised $15,000 for pancreatic cancer. She said it is all about networking. So I am going to redo my e-mail letter and send it out again. This time I am sending it to everyone in my e-mail address book who is not on our team or involved with our team. I am going to ask them to donate and to forward it to everyone in their e-mail address books. Then I am going around to all the houses in the neighborhood and putting a letter in their mailboxes asking them to donate and then pass the letter on to someone else they know. I may also go into the next neighborhood and do that also. Hopefully I will see some results from that.
Also, I walked 6 miles in the rain today, it wasn't half bad. I found out my raincoat is pretty waterproof! I did have to change shoes after 4 miles though. I wore my more waterproof shoes to start out with but they hurt my feet after a while. So everyone get out there rain or shine and walk I promise you won't melt. After all I didn't and I am so sweet! :)
